Storage and Billing

Storage management billing is very flexible and simple to perform in MarinaOffice™. Rental property can be managed and billed for both long term and short term (transient) occupancy. Long term tenants can be billed on a recurring frequency of your choice and short term guests can utilize the built in hotel style daily guest processor with guest folios.

Storage billing frequencies can be configured for:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Semi-Annual
  • Annual
  • Custom, specify the months to bill
Billing rate calculations can include:
  • Fixed
  • Per Foot
  • Minimum Per Foot
  • Per Square Foot
  • Minimum Per Square Foot
  • Any Rate Stored in QuickBooks®
Billing invoices can also include electricity fees, metered fees, and house account charges from your ship store and/or restaurant.

With the real-time QuickBooks® integration, all invoices are automatically generated in your QuickBooks® accounting financials with no extra effort.



Electronic Payments

MarinaOffice™ provides many methods for customers to apply payments. The traditional approach is to accept check payments sent via mail. While perfectly functional, MarinaOffice™ can speed up your payment process with the use of automated credit card processing and direct bank account processing.

Credit Card Payments

With the integrated credit card module, MarinaOffice™ combines the billing process and payment process into one step. Tenants can be setup to securely store credit card data on file and during the billing process the system will for the appropriate customer: a) create an invoice with all appropriate charges, b) process the credit card for the invoice amount in real-time, and c) if the credit card is authorized, apply a payment for the appropriate amount.

Bank Account Processing

The bank account processing is very similar to the credit card processing. However, instead of authorizing a credit card, a national standard ACH file is created for your bank. This ACH information contains a standardized electronic payment sequence that when processed by your bank will automatically debit the funds from your customer’s checking or savings account and then deposit to your bank account.
